Matt Serra tells it like it is
All hail those who speak their mind. Anyone who saw TUF4 last Thursday when Matt Serra let Marc Laimon have it knows what I'm talking about. He said what most people think.
I get that a lot. People tell me that I said what they were thinking. I don't get that all the time....many times I get called out or confronted for my wise-ass attitude. But for the most part speaking my mind instead of putting on a nice face is much more authentic and genuine and doesn't create unecessary stress by holding it in. Damned if I'm going to take days off my life because I didn't call a fuck-tard out on his stupidity.
That's just me.

matt serra is the man...who cares if he has to "comeback" the hard way to get back into the UFC
Mark Laimon is a punk....I saw him at the Pan Ams BJJ Tournament in Los Angeles this year and he was walking around like his shat don't stink and he owned the place...
Matt was right....Mark's not a fighter and he needs to STFU. It was awesome that he held no punches...
Sucks you can't go and tell everyone else how "you feel" like Matt did, cause you don't "want to offend anyone" or make them butthurt
people are such pussies...

Everyone loves an underdog, and that's second only to a great comeback.
Well, at work, it's work. It's a good lesson in restraining myself and keeping my mouth shut when I need to. Sometimes it's not appropriate to mouth off, like in front of cops and stuff. I get paid to be politically correct and tolerant. And if I don't like it, I can leave.
Speaking of which, I told Tony about your suggestion that it's time to get a small business loan and make "my little idea" happen. It's scarey to take such a big risk especially when it involves a large amount of loaned money. I should get an analysis done on the start-up amount I would need and then a projection of revenue to help pay it off as well as what I can actually pocket in profit.
But right now I'm going to enjoy one of the fruits of corporate labor, an earned PTO day, and relax while I finish prepping for this competition this Saturday!
