Mission Delay: 4 months
Sucks to be me. First I couldn't compete at the Augusta show on the 29th. Now I can't even go to help out because the doc says I won't be in any shape to travel after my surgery on the 25th. There's no way I'll be ready to compete in September. So the World's in New York would be my only chance of competing this year, but neither one of us are too crazy about New York. We stay in Jersey, but 1/2 hour to get through the Lincoln Tunnel leaves something to be desired. Pain in the friggen ass!
So we'll see. Just want to get through the surgery on the 25th, heal up and get over the affects of the general anethesia, and get on with my training ASAP. I just hope this surgery is effective. Because if it isn't, I'll be pissed. Chipping away at my insides, not knowing if we're even getting it all. Chasing cancer sucks. But I'm sure it's smarter to act pre-emptively than wait till it's too late.
So with four months till November, training is going really well and I'm enjoying lifting heavy with less cardio to build back up again.

Prayers here.

Look on the bright side of competing in NYC. You'll have me in the audience cheering my butt off for your beautiful butt.
Make no ''buts'' about it. You're gonna take a big bite out of the Big Apple.

I'll be posting more about this later. But given the current medical situation, I may not even be able to compete in New York without some serious sponsorship. We're talking about $1000 to $1500. I'm working on it feverishly, but the only response I'm getting is the sound of crickets like the Bugs Bunny cartoon when Daffy Duck takes the stage at the opera.
So if anyone has any connections, I need help with airfare, rental car, hotel (in NYC or Jersey), restaurant food, a few supplements, and for costs related to my suit and shoes.

I only wish I had those kind of contacts, but hopefully a prayer or two that some will show up for you will do? I really hope you can get to NY, but most of all I hope that the operation goes well and you are back rockin' the stage like NOBODY else can xxx
