My new favorite song & Drive it like a rental
I think I'm going to feature a "Song of the Month" because every few weeks I've got a new favorite song.
Last time it was "Bullet With A Name" by Nonpoint.
This time it's "Animal I've Become" by Three Days Grace.
Reminiscent of an 80's hair band with the verse and refrain set-up and even a hint of a guitar solo, it's definitely one to open up the gate for the ponies under your hood on your local interstate highway.
I also have to thank Alex and the rest of the production crew at the Pat Campbell show on 540WFLA for turning me on to a song they featured on an outtake to a commercial yesterday morning. "Freaking Out" by Adema.
Since my car's in the shop getting the bumper fixed after some distracted idiot on his cell phone rear-ended me a few weeks back, I got this really hot rental that I'm abusing the shit out of. "Drive it like a rental!" It's been a while since I've had more than 4 cylinders, so drving a brand new Mazda 6 is sweet indeed. There's just something about a cushy ride that when you step on the gas it goes. The top of 2nd gear banging into 3rd is the best though. Gotta a love a hot chick who loves hot cars. And I've got the Mazda for a WHOLE WEEK. So this required burning a new CD to blow out the speakers with, hence the happy music listed above being utilized to its full potential of making my ears bleed.
