"The Bud Man" hangs up on me because I think Ann Coulter can beat Hillary in a cage match
So Ann's a bit harsh....and your point is....what?
Did you read her book or listen to everything she said to Matt Lauer. Everyone ignores the fact that she specifically named 4 women who use their status as widows of husbands who died on 9/11 for political purposes. Once you jump in the political arena, anything goes. These women are members of a specific group called "The Jersey Girls" who are politically active in denouncing Bush. They also appeared in campaign commercials for John Kerry when he was running for president. Therefore, they are not immune to opposing arguments and attacks.
Cindy Sheehan, a previous exploit of the left, was exposed for the tree huggin' freak she is. These women are also to be exposed as they are indeed ENJOYING their husbands deaths through the charity they have received. These women are now in a higher income bracket due to their husband's deaths. To go on with their lives would mean turning off the faucet of cash. So yes, they are enjoying their husband's deaths.
Budd Heddinger hung up on me yesterday on his show. I called in to comment on his topic: "Cage Match: Hillary vs. Coulter". It was a proud moment I had been waiting for given that I have a 75% disagreeance rate with his goody-two-shoes, holier than thou, but there's not enough room for me and the gators/manatees so let's just kill them all. He said I don't have a heart. (A) Those broads are greedy. Do your research first before you report, don't be like Dan Rather. (B) You don't know me. You don't know my background and research in psychology and social work or that I was a family services worker in NYC after 9/11, to which I also did my masters thesis on regarding PTSD and compassion fatigue. (C) If you put the twinkies down and learned some personal responsibility you wouldn't need the "Bud Scan" and there'd be plenty of room for you and all of God's creatures on this earth (have a heart). And (D) if you reff'd the cage match between Hillary and Coulter you wouldn't be "crying foul" you'd get KTFO!

Yesterday, I heard a caller - a black man named "Howard" - calmly tell Bud how he had been stopped by Orange County police a few months ago. The police officer told Howard he had run a stop sign, which Howard explained he had not. To keep this short, the police officer asked Howard if he had any drugs or weapons in the car, conducted a search and found none, and then told Howard to have a nice day.
Bud was all up in Howard's face metaphorically about this, saying he (Bud) couldn't see for the life of him how Howard thought he had been racially profiled.
When Bud finished ranting, Howard calmly asked Bud, "If it wasn't profiling, then why didn't they give me a ticket for the stop sign I supposedly ran?"
To which Bud replied in his deep falsetto voice, "Time's a wastin' Howard, and I have to go." "But thanks for the call anyways."
Bud is about Bud...sad but true. I think he's arrogant, sometimes racist, most times presumptuous of others thoughts, and pretty much just a bag of wind.
Good blog...I enjoyed it.

Thanks JL4. More and more he drives me up a wall. And it's not about political leanings one way or the other, it's about common sense. But is irrational and illogical most times. But you make a good point, "Bud is about Bud". Given that perspective, it explains much, but not all. Sometimes he'll take the opposing side just to argue.
And he always has to have the last word. Don't ya love how he drops a call and says, "You, my friend, are wrong. But you are welcome to listen and call the show anytime."
What an ass.
Since you listen to 540, be listening for the new commercial for Pat Campbell's show during the breaks featuring me making fun of his height and how he has no neck. (See one of my earlier blog posts) I heard the commercial for the first time during Glenn Beck's show today (it was on at about 11:30 this morning). Funny as all get out. I tried back peddling on my comments, and failed miserably. Note to self: always be well caffeinated and wait until at least 8am before calling Pat's show.
