Uranus Trine Uranus. This is an astrological event that occurrs three times in a person's life if they have a good longevity. It occurrs every 28-29 years. In days gone by, it meant the end of your life, and therefore signalled a time of life review. Now with advanced technology and knowledge we are experiencing this event 2 and hopefully 3 times. In addition to this current event in my life, every year approximately 2 months before and 2 months after your birthday, the Sun moves into a geometric angle called a "Sextile" in relation to where the Sun was when you were born (your birthday). The two months before, when it happens on the approach, is a time to review the past year, and make new goals. Two months after your birthday, when it happens on the departure, is time to evaluate how you are progressing towards your goals.
So here's my review.
2003......when I think of 2003 I feel that my life had flip-flopped from the focus of progress in the previous 3 years, which was totally physical, in the gym, transforming my body. 2003 was a year of focus on the spiritual part of me. No, I didn't find God. No, I didn't get "saved". It wasn't the usual discovery you always hear about. I've always had God, for I AM God. In Jewish tradition, those who followed Moses after the whole burning bush incident, when the chief priests asked Moses "Who is your God?" Moses replied with what God told him from the burning bush, "When they ask you 'who is your God?, say 'I am.' And standing up and saying that is very powerful. It is not conceited or blasphemous. It acknowledges that God is within me. I am a part of God; I am God.
Namastay. In the east, they bow and honor the God within each of us. If only us in the west would acknowledge the God within each person before every interaction. But we're raised to be independent, to see the differences, to distinguish between everyone, and that hurts our perception of the truth, that we are all connected.
I saw the movie "The Last Samurai" and it reminded me to hold valuable such values as HONOR and RESPECT. Honor not only for oneself, but one's family. Not just for those living, but for one's ancestors. Honor not only for one's family but for one's people. Can we even say that for our own country? Perhaps for a few who are doing their duty in Iraq and Afghanistan right now.
Every culture, every religion, has something to contribute to our knowledge base of The Truth. We, as a whole on this earth, all seek the truth. We don't try to concoct theories to undermine our own lifes' journey. But because of our normative values to "be right", we discredit anyone who is "not us". We're right, their wrong. This is the only way. Could it be, that in doing this we miss out on the bigger picture, the greater truth, the truth that might be more apparant had we pooled all our knowledge together and learned from one another?
I found out that most religions believe in greater abilities, greater powers, "Gifts", but it's not okay to practice them. It's a sin, work of the devil, an illness, a demon. Did you stop to think how things would be different if it were not for David's conversations with God, Mary's visitation by an angel, and Joseph's dream to remain with Mary and protect her? Could it be, that whatever might be intuited would unseat those in power and reveal the Truth to all people? Something that many people could intuit, not just one person in a position of power? Jesus said, in reference to his miracles, "you will do these same things and GREATER." Wow, that we could actually do something GREATER than Jesus himself......how come no one coaches us to excel into such greatness?
Fear is powerful. Fear = control.
Where do thoughts come from? Where does creativity originate? What is the genesis of original ideas?
Could it be, that we aren't as disconnected as we think we are? From each other.....from God...from Spirit....from Infinite Intelligence.....from our genesis.....
What I intuit, at least at this point in my development, is that creativity and intelligence are infinite, and collective in a nonlocal. The ideas were, and are, always there. When the time is right, they surface into someone's local mind and it is manifest in the physical world. This is difficult for a finite, imperfect mind such as the human brain, therefore a group effort, team work, can help perfect the idea to it's highest state of being.
It's something to consider. And keeping these things in mind really opens up your world when you go outside and live.
Happy New Year. See you in 2004.
